Berlin Work
BERLIN WORK
Embroidery in wool over open canvas or perforated Berlin canvas; patterns of flower, bird, or landscape designs. Originally cross, cushion, tapestry, satin and tent stitches were used. The ancient name is Opus Pulvinarium, and other modern names are Cushion Style and Point de marque.
